Northeast Incinerator Adaptive Use

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Location: Stantec, Inc. – City of Philadelphia – Streets Department Sanitation Division

This is an adaptive use of a 36000 sq.ft. old incinerator building into offices and service garages for the City of Philadelphia streets department. It is a multi-phase project including hazardous cleanup, exterior shell, new intermediate floor structure and elevator core. The final phase the City planned to fit-out the building which includes offices, supply storage, locker rooms, large conference spaces, dispatch center, and vehicle storage/maintenance garage. All of this house in one building. The project was designed for LEED Silver.
